Pink Coral and Unakite Gemstone Bracelet
An 8.5" bracelet consisting of "coin-shaped" cuts of unakite, aka bloodstone, and clusters of pink coral. Beaded silver joins the pairs while the pink coral beautifully enhances the warm coloring of the unakite gemstones. The design is completed with a silver toggle clasp.
Unakite is most commonly worn for keeping the blood healthy and to lengthen the life span. It also lends courage, calms fears and dispels angers. In ancient times, women wore bloodstone to prevent miscarriages and to ease discomfort related to childbirth.
Coral is the skeletal remains of a sea creature and is not a stone or plant. Coral comes from two Greek words meaning, "daughter of the sea". Coral was used to cure eye discomfort and to staunch blood in ancient times. It is also thought to guard against sterility in women.
