This 22" handmade beaded necklace is crafted with a nice assortment of freshwater pearls. Oval, coin and freeform pearls display autumn-like shades of gold, dark peach and cranberry, and the handcrafted design is completed with a small gold-filled lobster claw clasp.

Freshwater pearls have been believed, throughout history, to give the powers of love, money, protection, and luck to the wearer. Pearls are thought to bring wisdom through experience, and to help strengthen engagements and relationships of love. Early Chinese myths spoke of stories of pearls falling from the sky when dragons fought.
